Former Bears Star Devin Hester Named 2022 Hall Of Fame Finalist
Kick-return specialist Devin Hester holds NFL records for most kick-return, punt-return and any-kind of-return for touchdowns.

CHICAGO —Devin Hester. Could. Go. All. The. Way ... to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The former Bears star who holds NFL records for the most kick-return, punt-return and any-kind of-return for touchdowns on Thursday was named a finalist for the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
"I'm just honored and blessed to make it to this round," Hester said on NFL Network. "I thank God for everything that He's done in my life, and just hopefully we can get this done."

The second-round draft pick from University of Miami in the 2006 NFL draft played eight seasons with the Bears during his 11-year career. He was voted to three Pro Bowls and named to the NFL's 2000 and 2010 NFL's All-Decade teams.
Hester was a human high-light reel from the start. In 2006 home opener, Hester returned a punt 84-yards for a touchdown against the Packers. Over Hester's career, he returned 19 kicks, including 14 punts, for touchdowns.

In Super Bowl 41, Hester returned the opening kickoff 92 yards for a touchdown. It was the first time in NFL history that the Super Bowl started with a touchdown return.
The 2022 Hall of Fame induction ceremony is scheduled for February 10.
