6 Train Cars Derail Near Chicago-Cicero Border

CHICAGO — Six train cars derailed Wednesday near the Chicago-Cicero border, according to BNSF Railway and media reports.
No one was hurt and the cause of the derailment was under investigation as of early Wednesday evening, according to the railway, which said the cars were empty at the time of the incident.
WLS published video Wednesday afternoon of the overturned freight cars at the scene near 26th Street in the area of Kostner and Cicero avenues.
