Gun Fired During Dispute At Water Tower Place: Cops
No injuries were reported after a gun went off Friday in the retail area of the downtown building, according to Chicago police

CHICAGO, IL — A gun went off Friday night during "a dispute between two groups" in the mall area of the Water Tower Place, according to Chicago police. No injuries were reported, police said.
The gunfire occurred on the seventh floor of Water Tower Place, and the building briefly closed while police responded to the incident, according to ABC 7 Chicago. Officers secured the area at around 6:30 p.m., department spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said in an online update.
It is not know if anyone was taken into custody following the shooting. Police requested people to stay away from Water Tower Place while officers responded to the incident, and Guglielmi told the public to expect traffic delays and street closures.

Water Tower secured by CPD and incident is clear. A dispute between two groups ended with an offender discharging a gun. No one was reprtedly struck and no injuries reported.
