And, along with his brother, he fantasized about kidnapping a woman and her daughter, raping the child and killing them both. “It just scares the hell out of me that you and your brother were driving down the street and saying, ‘Hey maybe we can get that, I’ve seen a little girl,’” a Will County investigator said during his interrogation. Masked Intruders Stab 4 Family Members, 1 Dog in Buffalo Grove Home Invasion

The two attackers forced their way into a home they targeted early Wednesday, stabbed the homeowner in the head and neck, stabbed others in the house, including the family dog, and then fled after the homeowner found a gun and shot at them. Police say the motive remains unclear. They were caught after stopping at a nearby gas station.
