TAKE THE PATCH SURVEY: The percentage of Americans suffering from anxiety and depression symptoms has spiked to 32 percent compared to 2019.
CHICAGO – A recent federal survey found that the percentage of Americans suffering from anxiety and depression has exponentially spiked from about 11 percent in 2019 to about 32 percent.

Nearly 48 percent of young adults between ages 18 and 29 reported those symptoms between Dec. 29 and Jan. 10, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention household pulse survey. The percentage of folks dealing with anxiety and depression decreased among older survey participants.
