Illinois Primary Election 2018: Results For Chicago's House Races

Delia Ramirez captures the projected nomination for the state's 4th House District.

The highly contested Illinois governor's race might have drawn many voters across the south suburbs and the state to the polls Tuesday. But the midterm election also have its share of compelling county and local contests.

In the Democratic primary for Cook County assessor, incumbent Joseph Berrios had been in a political street fight for his job and control of his party as contenders Fritz Kaegi and Andrea Raila worked to unseat him. Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle also faced a challenge to her incumbency from former 2nd Ward Chicago alderman Bob Fioretti, which she fended off easily.

Here are the races on Tuesday's ballot.
