'Irate' Man Makes Theat To O'Hare Airport, Gets Arrested: Chicago PD

Police were called to a disturbance in Terminal 1 after a witness said the man made a threat to the airport before being arrested.

CHICAGO — A man who police said became irate on Monday afternoon at O’Hare International Airport is in custody after making threats to another person, Chicago Police said.

The man has not been named by police but was arrested at around 12:30 p.m. on Monday when police responded to a disturbance in Terminal 1 at the airport. Police said that the man, whose age was not immediately known, became irate and made a threat to the airport to another person in the area, police said.

No injuries were reported, and the man was arrested before police determined that the area in which the threat took place was safe and secure, police said.
