Los Angeles police reportedly are investigating a misdemeanor battery allegation involving the Grammy-winning rapper.
CHICAGO — Rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, is the subject of a misdemeanor battery investigation for allegedly hitting a fan, according to published reports.
Los Angeles police are investigating the incident, which reportedly occurred around 3 a.m. Thursday, according to Page Six.
Fox 11 in Los Angeles first reported that Ye punched an autograph seeker after a heated argument near the private club, Soho Warehouse.

TMZ obtained video that showed the Chicago-raised rapper yelling at someone in a parking lot. "Did y’all say that or not? Did y’all say that or not?" the rapper could be heard saying on the video.
As of Thursday afternoon, Ye has not been arrested or charged with a crime.
