Kendrick Lamar, Red Hot Chili Peppers Headline Lollapalooza Lineup

More than 170 artists, including Billie Eilish, Karol G, The 1975 and others will appear at the four-day music festival in Grant Park.

CHICAGO — More than 170 musical artists, including Kendrick Lamar, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Billie Eilish, will appear at this summer’s Lollapalooza music festival in Grant Park, organizers announced on Tuesday.

The four-day event, which draws scores of music fans and live music aficionados each year, will be held from Aug. 3-6. Four-day passes are scheduled to go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, with special pre-sale promotions being offered as well.

Tickets for four-day passes start at $365 and single-day tickets will be sold at a later time, festival organizers announced.

Other headliners include Odesza, Lana Del Ray, Karol G, The 1975 and Tomorrow X Together. Karol G will be the first Latin female artist to headline Lollapalooza.

Mayor Lori Lightfoot announced at the end of last year’s festival that the city had agreed to terms on a 10-year contract with the festival’s organizers. Perry Farrell had announced prior to Lightfoot’s announcement that the event had been offered a 10-year extension and planned to stick around for another decade.

In addition to general admission tickets, General Admission+ tickets start at $675 for four-day passes, 4-day VIP passes start at $1,500 and 4-day platinum passes start at $4,350.
