A Little Sprinkle Couldn't Dampen This Newborn Photo Shoot

A photographer perfectly captured one candid moment most parents know all too well.

Abbie Rogers has done the impossible. During a newborn photo shoot this month with the beautiful Carlson family, the Franklin County, Indiana-based photographer managed to make pee look ... pretty.

In an unplanned but not-so-unpredictable candid moment, 2-week-old Pryor showered his loving family, Rogers' equipment and the floor with pee. But not before Rogers expertly captured the spray as it arced through the air, each drop beautifully catching the light.

"When we got done with the parent photos, we looked at them on the back of the camera," Rogers said. "I knew it would be popular, I just didn't realize how popular."

Mom's lidded gaze perfectly shows off her fab eye makeup, and dad's face expresses a combination of "Whoopsie," and "That's my boy!"

Farren and Jeff Carlson of Greensburg, both photographers themselves, showed no fear — only love. With two older brothers paving the way, Pryor didn't have a chance of rattling his parents.

For Rogers, a little moisture is just pee for the course (I'm so sorry). She said nature calls to naked babies often in the middle of a shoot.

"The main thing I tell people during a session is to enjoy it," Rogers said. "Sometimes it's stressful, but you just have to relax and go with the flow."

Go with the flow, indeed. If you sprinkle when you tinkle, be a sweetie and try not to hit the photographer.
