A Lot of Rain and Possible Storm Ahead
Sunday was beautiful. But it's yesterday's news. We could see a lot of rain this week.

Did you soak up as much sun as possible on Sunday? Our unseasonably warm day gives way to the likelihood of all-too-seasonal April showers and possible thunderstorms on Monday and cooler temps for the remainder of the week. Along with the chance of more showers on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Here's a look at the week ahead, according to the National Weather Service.
- Monday: Partly sunny with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Continued unseasonably warm. Highs in the upper 70s inland, but only in the lower 70s near the lake. Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Showers and thunderstorms likely in the evening. Lows in the lower 50s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph in the evening becoming west 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation 60 percent.
- Tuesday: Mostly cloudy. Highs in the mid 50s inland, but only in the upper 40s near the lake. Then temperatures falling into the lower 50s by evening. North winds 10 to 15 mph. In the evening, mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 40s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph.
- Wednesday: Showers likely. Highs in the mid 50s inland, but only in the upper 40s near the lake. Chance of precipitation 60 percent. At night, showers likely and a slight chance of thunderstorms. Lows in the lower 40s. Chance of precipitation 70 percent.
- Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of showers. Highs in the mid 50s inland, but only around 50° near the lake.
- Friday: Partly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers. Lows in the lower 40s. Highs in the mid 50s inland, but only in the lower 50s near the lake.
