Man Claiming To Have Bomb In His Bag Arrested At O'Hare: CPD

Police said that the man made the claim inside Terminal 1 but that no explosives were found and that the suspect was taken into custody.

CHICAGO — A man who claimed he had a bomb inside a bag he was carrying at O’Hare International Airport on Friday has been arrested, Chicago police said.

A department spokesman said that no explosives were found by detectives after the incident, which took place at Terminal 1 at O’Hare on Friday.

Police have not provided more information about the incident other than to say that the man was taken into custody by airport bomb and explosives detectives.
