Man on Foot Slows Down the Dan Ryan Tuesday Morning
State Police tackled him and took him into custody.

A man wandering the Dan Ryan Expressway Tuesday morning slowed traffic considerably and caused headaches for police before he was chased down and tackled near 63rd Street.
IDOT trucks blocked the outbound Dan Ryan shortly after 6 a.m. as the morning rush began to pick up steam. He was running in the local lanes and the express lanes and at times on the CTA Red Line tracks.
He was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, reports the Chicago Fire Department.
