Man Rescued From Lake Michigan Near Adler Planetarium
Emergency workers saved the 24-year-old man Wednesday after he jumped into the water.

CHICAGO, IL — First responders pulled a 24-year-old man from Lake Michigan near the Alder Planetarium on Wednesday, according to the Chicago Tribune. According to a Chicago Fire Department spokesman, the man jumped in the water at around 1 p.m. Wednesday near the 900 block of East Solidarity Drive, the report added.
It took members of the fire and police departments about 10 minutes to rescue the man from the lake, the report stated. He was taken to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition, the report added.
