Man Who Called 911 Saying Wife Had Knife To His Throat Shot Dead By Police
Michael Craig's wife stabbed him several times. Then police shot him. Body camera video of the incident was released late Wednesday.
CHICAGO (CBS) — Building custodian Michael Craig was shot dead by a Chicago police officer responding to a domestic call on the morning of Oct. 4 in a building in the 7700 block of South Carpenter Street. In his 911 call that morning, Craig said, “My wife’s got a knife on me on the bed — right now, on my throat.”
But Craig was the one police shot and killed. According to the video and the family's attorney, the officer did not even render any aid to Craig as he lay bleeding.
