  • Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West, could be in trouble with the law. Los Angeles police are investigating allegations that the Chicago-raised rapper punched an autograph seeker. (Patch)
  • A bank president allegedly had an employee cook the books to fraudulently make it appear indicted Ald. Patrick Daley Thompson made mortgage payments, according to court papers. Thompson's attorney said the court filings are "highly misleading." (NBC5)
  • The Chicago Teachers Union in-person learning boycott is officially over. Union members voted to approve a safety pact that kept about 330,000 students out of classrooms for a week. (Patch)
  • Now that CTU's de facto strike is over, some high school students are set to walk out of class today. Chicago Public Schools Radical Youth Alliance helped organize the protest that demands a student voice in pandemic decision making and better learning options as the coronavirus crisis continues.
