Students across Illinois will be able to walk into class without wearing a mask today due to a downstate judge's ruling Friday.
The court decision technically affects Chicago Public Schools. But district officials say they will continue masking requirements that were included in a safety agreement with the Chicago Teachers Union.

- A 15-year-old boy was shot and wounded in Englewood Sunday night. Around 6 p.m., the boy was shot in the neck while standing on the sidewalk in the 6700 block of South May Street. (CBS2)
