The 24 year old was returning home from a shift Saturday when she was shot three times and killed outside her Avalon Park home. According to a Sun-Times report, Chicago police officials have not explained why it took more than 30 minutes for first responders to arrive on the scene. “Had somebody gotten there sooner, “it may have had a different outcome certainly,” retired Superintendent Anthony Riccio told the paper.
