'Mechanical Issue' Forces Plane To Divert To O'Hare
The diverted flight was headed from Minneapolis to New Jersey on Thursday.

CHICAGO, IL — A New Jersey bound plane diverted to O'Hare Airport Thursday evening due to a "mechanical issue," United Airlines said in a statement.
The flight, Republic Airlines 3673 operating as United Express departed from Minneapolis.
United said the plane landed safely at O'Hare and is expected to depart for Newark Airport on Thursday.
