MillerCoors Donating Water Cans Ahead Of Hurricane Florence

Hurricane Florence is now a category 2 storm that is aiming for the Carolinas.

Chicago-based beer company MillerCoors is donating 200,000 cans of water to those impacted by Hurricane Florence, the company said in a press release.

The cans are being donated in partnership with the American Red Cross and area food banks. According to MillerCoors, the cans will be distributed at the Red Cross and at community shelters.

“We hope this water donation provides some relief and comfort to residents and first responders in Hurricane Florence’s path,” Karina Diehl, MillerCoors Senior Director for National Community Affairs, said in a statement. “It’s a MillerCoors priority to do our part in helping the communities where our consumers, employees and distributors call home.”
