Bridget Czubernat
Bridget Czubernat, age 54, of Plainfield, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024, at her home. Bridget was born in Chicago, IL, on December 9, 1970, the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (nee Riordan) Costello.

Bridget was a Police Officer with the Chicago Police Department for 33 years. She loved her family deeply, and being a grandma was everything to her. Bridget also loved her grand fur babies as well.
Bridget is survived by her loving husband, Christopher; her children, Elizabeth (Kenneth) Graczyk, Nicholas Czubernat, and Caitlin Czubernat (DJ Hodges); loving Gamma to Aiden, AJ, and Easton; brother, William Costello Jr.; sisters; Judy Stankus, Mary Ellen Toporek, and Margaret Costello; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Eugene Costello, and Dano Costello.
Visitation for Bridget will be on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until services begin at 7:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington Rd.) Joliet. As it was Bridget’s request, cremation rites will be accorded following her services.
