Keith E. Golimowski

Age 42, of Chicago and formerly Morris, Illinois, died unexpectedly at his home on February 3, 2025. Keith was born December 29, 1982, in Joliet, Illinois, the son of Mary Catherine (Loscheider) and Michael Golimowski. He was raised in Morris, a graduate with the class of 2001 from Morris Community High School. He received a bachelor degree from North Central College in 2005.

Keith proudly served his Country in the U.S. Army and after his tour in Afghanistan, was honorably discharged in April of 2013.

He is survived by his brother, Kyle E. (Jennifer) Golimowski; two nephews, Andrew and Alex; his aunt, Jody (Jim) Chiapello, and uncles, Michael Loscheider, Richard (Judy O’Brien) Loscheider, Paul (Susie) Loscheider and Steve (Kathy) Golimowski. Many cousins also survive.

Keith is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Keith was employed in finance and accounting. His hobbies included playing cards, dungeons and dragons and board games.

Visitation for Keith will be held Monday, February 10, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until services begin at 12 Noon at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 1201 W. Route 6 (at Deerpath Drive) in Morris. Interment will follow in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.
