Person Seriously Injured After Shooting On Dan Ryan: ISP

Illinois State Police said they found the person in the northbound lanes of I-94 at around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday.

CHICAGO — A person was seriously injured in a shooting Wednesday night on the Dan Ryan Expressway, state police told Patch.

Troopers responded to a call of shots fired on I-94 near 69th Street at around 8:45 p.m. and found an injured male in the northbound lanes of the expressway. He was taken to a local hospital where his condition is unknown.

Anyone who witnessed the shooting or has any knowledge of the shooting is asked to contact Illinois State Police at 847-294-4400.
