A truck driver misjudged the size of his rig and the height of a bridge near South Anthony Avenue and South Jeffery Boulevard on Chicago’s South Side overnight. The trash-compacting truck slammed into the bridge late Friday, causing significant damage to the truck. A tow-truck was called in to remove the damaged vehicle.
