Police Officer Shot / Hot Dog Joint Snub / Logan Square Machete Robber
The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Chicago.

A neighborhood hot dog stand got snubbed at a "Sausage Fest" in Six Corners over the weekend.
North Side hot-dog joint owner Bobby Morelli's restaurant, Hot Dog Box, got left out of the Windy City Hot Dog Fest in Portage Park.
“How would they have a hot dog festival blocking off our street and not even inform us? ... [They’re] allowing all of this competition to come into this neighborhood and literally sit in front of the Hot Dog Box," Morelli told reporter Naomi Waxman.
