Police Raid Three Locations Of Parlor Pizza Restaurant

Employees who showed up to work in River North are locked out and had no idea what was going on.

CHICAGO (CBS) — Chicago police officers and employees with the city’s building department were taking pictures inside the Parlor Pizza restaurant, 405 N. Dearborn. The restaurant is now tied to a state investigation. Investigators were also at the restaurant’s Wicker Park location, 1824 W Division St and the West Loop location, 108 N. Green. Agents were seen sitting inside the West Loop shop with stacks of boxes, CBS 2’s Jackie Kostek reports. Employees who showed up to work in River North are locked out and had no idea what was going on, CBS 2’s Tara Molina reported.

In a statement, the Illinois Department of Revenue said: “In the event of potential violations of the Illinois Tax Act and related offenses, our Bureau of Criminal Investigations will investigate potential violations. The Illinois Department of Revenue cannot comment on ongoing investigations, however, or their existence.”
