Riot Fest Chicago Reveals First Wave of Bands in 2016 Lineup
Morrissey, Ween, Death Cab for Cutie and Rob Zombie will join the Misfits as headlining acts at the September festival.
Chicago, IL - Riot Fest in Chicago has made its first lineup announcement for the 2016 festival, featuring headliners Morrissey, Ween, Death Cab for Cutie, Rob Zombie, Social Distortion, Brand New and Nas.
Festival fans learned last week that the original members of the Misfits would reunite to perform at the event.
Other performers include, The Specials, Deftones, Fitz & The Tantrums, Jimmy Eat World and many more, though some mysteries remain as the second wave of bands has yet to be announced.

Riot Fest and Carnival will take over Douglas Park, 1401 S. Sacramento Drive, from Sept. 16 to 18. Tickets are on sale now, though some price levels have already sold out.
A lengthy list of items banned from the event include Donald Trump, selfie sticks, Justin Bieber, crying and for some reason, cantaloupe, though John Stamos, blankets, strollers and sunscreen will be permitted.

The original members of the Misfits, who will also headline Riot Fest in Denver, will take the stage together for the first time in more than 30 years.
Bassist Jerry Only told Rolling Stone he and vocalist Glenn Danzig have always been friends, but also adversaries. The band was born in 1977 and broke up in 1983.
