Robbers Attacking Senior Citizens In Chinatown Spree: Chicago Police
The robbers approach the victims, who have ranged from 63 to 80, then batter them and steal from their pockets and purses, police said.
CHICAGO — A group of thieves have been targeting senior citizens in Chinatown, physically attacking and robbing the victims, according to Chicago police.
The robbers typically approach the targets, who have ranged in age from 63 to 80, and batter them while brandishing a pocketknife and/or using pepper spray, stealing items from their pockets and purses, police said.
The attacks have occurred at 6:15 p.m. Nov. 15 and 7 a.m. Nov. 17 in the 2200 block of South Princeton Avenue, 9 a.m. Nov. 17 in the 2300 block of South Stewart Avenue, 5:15 p.m. Nov. 19 in the 300 block of West 23rd Street, and 5:30 p.m. Nov. 20 in the 200 block of West 22nd Place, according to police.

The offenders include a male, a female and a third person, police said.
