CHICAGO — Patch readers on Wednesday submitted hundreds of questions they wanted to ask former Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who was released from prison early after having his sentence commuted by President Trump.

After his exclusive hour-long interview on the Mancow Muller morning show Thursday, Blagojevich stopped to answer three of those questions.

Patch reader Jim from Naperville wanted to know: "What will you tell FOX News when they come knocking with an offer to host a show?"

"I’ll say, yes," Blagojevich said.

Deb from Lockport asked: "How are you managing at home, mentally, after being away from everyone & everything for so long?"

“It’s a very easy transition," the former governor said. "The place I was in was bad. The place I’m in now is the place I want to be and never want to leave."

Shari from St. Charles, like many other readers, asked: "Are you going to keep your grey hair?"

"In all likelihood, yes," Blago said. But he said he's not completely ruling out returning his trademark mane to "Sable Brown No. 47D."

Blagojevich's hour-long chat with Mancow on WLS AM 890, his first radio interview, started with an on-brand joke from the veteran radio host: "How was the sex ... in prison?"

From there, the conversation touched on the former governor's time in prison, his relationship with god, insight on how House Speaker Mike Madigan conducts business and why J.B. Pritzker has some explaining to do to the people of Illinois, and more.

Part 2 of the interview — which was taped during commercial break — is scheduled to air on Friday.
