Semis Jackknife on Dan Ryan Wednesday Morning

Chicago, IL — Jackknifed semis on the Dan Ryan Expressway between 71st Street at 63rd Street were tying up traffic Wednesday morning in the outbound lanes. Hazmat crews responded to the scene to clean up spilled fuel and apply sand to the roadway. Both semi trucks were removed from the scene around 8 a.m.
The stormy, rainy weather that entered the Chicago region overnight is a factor.
