Shocking! ComEd Raising Rates: Report
The rate hike will tack another $2 onto the average household's bill, according to Crain's.

CHICAGO —If you live in an average kind of household, you can expect your electric bill to go up about $2, according to a report from Crain’s Chicago Business.
“On the day before Gov. Bruce Rauner is to sign into law a multi-year electricity rate hike for consumers and businesses statewide, his Illinois Commerce Commission approved a $127 million 2017 rate increase for Commonwealth Edison, the Crain’s story said.
The rate hike reportedly starts New Year’s Day and will cost the average household $2 a month.
