And tonight will be more of the same — without the sun but probably with a lovely sunset at 8:21 p.m. We'll segue into showers and possible thunderstorms Saturday morning, though the weekend won't be a "total washout," according to the National Weather Service forecast.

• Saturday: Mostly cloudy. A 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning, some of which could be very strong, then showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 70s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. A likelihood of showers and thunderstorms in the evening, too, then a slight chance of showers after midnight. Lows in the upper 50s. West winds 5 to 10 mph.

• Sunday: Cloudy with a 20 percent chance of light showers. Highs in the lower 70s. Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph. Partly cloudy in the evening then clearing. Lows around 60.

• Monday: Mostly sunny in the morning then becoming partly cloudy. Highs in the mid 70s. Partly cloudy in the evening then clearing. Lows in the upper 50s.
