Suburban Store Owner Sold Fake Pee to Undercover Cops: Police
Crestwood man now faces a felony charge.

CRESTWOOD, IL — A Crestwood store owner accused of selling synthetic urine kits used to cheat drug tests faces criminal charges, according to the Cook County sheriff’s police.
The Sheriff’s Police Special Operations Unit recently learned that Tobacco Land Plus in the 13400 block of South Cicero Avenue, owned by Taher Yousef, was stocking and selling synthetic urine kits with heating elements.
Undercover officers found 21 kits in the store on Monday and bought one from Yousef, according to the sheriff’s police. The kits are illegal in Illinois.

Yousef, 56, of Crestwood, is charged with a manufacture/sell/give a synthetic or human substance with the intent of using the product to a defraud drug or alcohol screening test, a class 4 felony.
Bail was set at $20,000 during a bond hearing Tuesday in Bridgeview.
