College Girl Carried Her Suffocated Newborn in a Backpack
- The 20-year-old University of Illinois scholarship student from Monee was charged with first-degree murder and other felonies this week after giving birth in her University of Illinois dormitory bathroom last month. Prosecutors say she suffocated the newborn shortly after delivery and hid the body under her bed when cops came to question her.
