Sunny Skies — For the Most Part — Expected This Week

A look ahead at this week's weather for the Chicago area.

Expect to see some sunny skies this week. Except for Wednesday, when there is a chance of showers. And on Friday, which has a slight chance of showers.

But we like those odds, even if things start out a bit cloudy on Columbus Day.

After that, it’s sunny on Tuesday, a chance of showers on Wednesday, sunny on Thursday, that slight chance of showers on Friday, and a sunny Saturday, if the forecast holds into the weekend.
