ILLINOIS — Illinois' political landscape could shift in 2022 as Gov. J.B. Pritzker faces opposition from within his party in the June primary, plus a wide field of Republicans hoping to unseat him in November. Some longtime elected officials — including Secretary of State Jesse White and Congressman Bobby Rush — are not seeing re-election.

While the general election isn't until November, filing for Illinois' June 28 primary ended last month, and voters will head to the polls to choose their candidates this summer.

Patch is conducting an anonymous online survey to gauge voter enthusiasm and find out what other issues our readers in the Land of Lincoln most care about.

The survey, which is available here, will be open until noon Wednesday, after which Patch will compile results. You can also take the survey below.

The survey is not scientific, but will give a general gauge of where Illinois' Patch readers' heads are at — whether it comes to inflation, police reform or the COVID-19 response — before the election.
