Teen Stabbed With Scissors, Hit With Broom At Loop Train Station
Chicago police said the 17-year-old boy was standing at the Jackson Red Line platform when he got into an argument with a man and a woman.

CHICAGO — A 17-year-old boy was hit with a broom and stabbed with a pair of scissors after getting into an argument on a Red Line platform in the Loop early Wednesday morning, police said.
According to officials, the teenager was standing on the platform at the Jackson Station at around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday when he got into an argument with a man and a woman also on the platform.
The man chased the boy and hit him with a broom while the woman stabbed him in the leg with scissors, authorities said in a statement.

The teen was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he is listed in serious condition.
Police said both the man and woman fled the scene and no one is in custody as of Wednesday morning.
