Three Shot, One Dead in Chatham Shooting
A 20-year-old has been pronounced dead after suffering a gunshot wound to the head on Monday night.
CHICAGO, IL— Three people were shot, one fatally in the 7900 block of South Cottage Grove Road on Monday night at around 8:43 p.m., according to Chicago police.
Three men ages 20, 18 and 62 were standing outside when all three were struck by bullets.
The 20-year-old victim was pronounced dead on Tuesday morning after a gunshot wound to the head. He has been identified as Jermaine Darden of Dolton, Illinois, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

The 18-year-old victim suffered a gunshot wound to the wrist and took himself to the University of Chicago where he is listed in good condition. The 62-year-old sustained a gun shot wound to the arm and is listed in stable condition at the University of Chicago as well, police said.
There are no offenders currently in custody.
