Chicago's Coldest May 15 in 121 Years
The mercury on the thermometer will inch up as the week goes on, however.

The low temperature of 35 degrees recorded Sunday morning at O'Hare International Airport ties the record low of 35 set on May 15, 1895, according to the National Weather Service.
Chicago's high of 47 degrees was lower than the weekend low in Fairbanks, Alaska.
