  • Snitches Get Riches: That could be a new pitch line for the Chicago police department's new anonymous tip line that pays. The "Gun Trafficking and Homicide Tip Line" offers up to $1,000 for information that leads to homicide charges and as much as $15,000 for tips that lead to convictions. (NBC5)
  • White Sox All-Star shortstop Tim Anderson admitted to pushing an umpire, which got him a three game suspension. "He initiated it. I just pushed him back.I pushed him off of me, because he was kind of in my space, a little too close," Anderson said. (NBC Sports Chicago)
