Summer holiday weekends always remind me of the tragic death of decorated U.S. Navy veteran and young father, Jermia Millsap.

The 25-year-old father of four survived war zones, and was shot and killed in his front lawn near Little Italy in the summer of 2013.

In his memory, watch out for each other on Memorial Day.
