16-Year-Old Stabbed to Death by Little Brother in South Chicago Heights: Police
Police were called to the house Wednesday morning. Charges have yet to be filed

A 14-year-old in South Chicago Heights was taken into custody Wednesday after a fight with his older brother ended in a stabbing.
South Chicago Heights Police Chief Bill Joyce told reporters that officers responded to a house in the 100 block of West 29th Street at about 7:15 a.m. and found Larry J. Miles, 16, with a stab wound to his back. Police said Miles was stabbed in the basement of his home. He was pronounced dead at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights at 8:20 a.m.
NBC Chicago reported that the 14-year-old brother left the house after the fight and returned with his grandfather. The 14-year-old is in police custody pending charges. Police said a motive is not yet clear.
