Armored Car Robbed In Chicago Heights, 3 Suspects At Large: FBI
An armored car was robbed in the 1300 block of Western Avenue

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL β Three suspects are at large Tuesday following an armored car robbery in Chicago Heights, the FBI said.
The robbery happened in the 1300 block of Western Avenue, according to the FBI. The suspects are described in males in their 20s, with thin builds. The suspects flashed handguns during the robbery. One of the suspects was hit by the armored car, and could be injured, the FBI said.
The suspects fled in a dark-colored Nissan sedan, which authorities say sustained extensive damaged to the rear passenger-side door in a collision with the armored truck. The vehicle had no license plates but displayed a dealer advertisement with a star and blue lettering.

Earlier this month in Homewood, another armored truck was robbed outside a bank.
The FBI continues to offer a reward of up to $20,000 for informationβrelated to this and other recent armored car robberiesβthat leads to an arrest and conviction. The public can report tips (even anonymously) at 312-421-6700 and tips.fbi.gov. Additional releasable information will be posted to bankrobbers.fbi.gov as available. There is no further information for release at this time.
