Beecher Cops Jail Man on Robbery, Restraint and Drug Charges - Do They Have Doc's Drugs Bandit?
The Park Forest man was jailed Thursday afternoon.

Beecher Police Chief Jeff Weissgerber could not be immediately reached for comment Thursday on whether Joseph Gunderson, 26, was one of the crooks who struck at the Dixie Highway drugstore last month.
Three men — two wearing black masks and one with a blue bandana over his face — went into Doc’s Drugs while a fourth waited outside and acted as a lookout. Two of the masked men brandished handguns.
The stickup men zip-tied five drugstore employees before absconding with $22,907.55 worth of prescription medication, two bottles of Crown Royal and a box and a half of prescription pads.
The lookout stood in front of the drugstore and told at least one person the business was closed for the night.
Police released a sketch of the lookout last week.
Police had no warrant for Gunderson’s arrest when he was taken into custody, according to jail records. The Park Forest man was scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.
