Bloom Trail Announces Advanced Placement Scholars From 2019-2020
The College Board announced the students who have earned recognition for their performance on AP exams.
CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — The Bloom Trail from Bloom Township High School announced the students who have made it on the AP Scholars list from the 2019-2020 school year, according to the school website.
Every fall the college board reports the names of those students who have earned recognition for their Advanced Placement Exams. AP exams are scored between one and five. A score of three or above earns the student college credit at most colleges and universities, including all public universities in Illinois, according to the school website.
According to website, the Bloom Trail had students earn honors at two levels:

- AP Scholar– Students who earn a score of 3 or higher on at least three exams.
- AP Scholar with Honor– Students who earn an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and have scores of three or higher on four or more exams.
Multiple students who were AP Scholars in the 2019 school year moved up to being recognized as Scholars with Honor in 2020.
