Chicago Heights Author Releases New Book Inspired By Movement
Gina Bell, author and public speaker, is releasing her new book, "Tears & Tulle."

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — A Chicago Heights native released a new book inspired by a movement she created in 2019 that sent a rainbow tulle skirt to 52 women across the United States.
Gina Bell, author and public speaker, is releasing her new book, "Tears & Tulle."
The story is about a girl and her rainbow tulle skirt. The skirt is magical and invisible to all but the girl, and is a source of joy, wonder, and strength, according to Bell. As the girl grows and changes, so does her skirt, which is a "bright reminder" on dark days to "celebrate her inner sparkle.

"Tears & Tulle is a book for all ages that was inspired by 'The Tears & Tulle Movement,' a women’s empowerment project," Bell said. "[My] rainbow tulle skirt is a wonderful reminder of the magic and color that exists in all of us. We can access this inner magic even when life doesn’t go the way we hope!"
Bell is a married mom of six, women's empowerment guide, author, speaker, workshop host, and founder of "The Tears & Tulle Movement." Bell uses art, metaphors and tulle fabric to help women all over the world to reconnect with their color and dreams from within the chaos of everyday life.
