Chicago Heights Police Investigate Homicide After Finding Man Dead in Pickup Truck

The homicide of an Indiana man who was found dead Thursday morning in Chicago Heights remained under investigation on Saturday.

Brian McGee, 50, of Lacrosse, Indiana, was reportedly found shot in the head Thursday morning inside a Ford pickup truck that was parked along Portland Avenue in Chicago Heights, according to a Chicago Tribune report.

Police did not immediately return calls seeking an update on Saturday afternoon.

"An autopsy conducted Friday determined that (McGee) died of multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide," the story says, citing the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
