DeLuca Luncheon and Southland Sox Deals: Announced

State Rep. Anthony DeLuca (D-Chicago Heights) is congratulating his senior advisory committee, with special thanks to Senior Advisory Chairperson Sheryl Ford on a successful Seminar and Luncheon that was held on Thursday at Village Woods in Crete.

“As our population grows older, it is a priority of mine to make sure that seniors have access to the services they need,” DeLuca said.  “There are many programs and services available to seniors and it is important that they are provided with this information so they can take full advantage of them.”

South Suburban PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter) will host its 13th annual Golf Outing at the newly renovated Glenwoodie Golf Course in Glenwood on Monday, Aug. 15, with an 11 a.m. shotgun start, preceded by registration at 9:30 a.m., a putting contest at 10 a.m., and concludes with an awards buffet banquet at 4:30 p.m. 

There will be a Hole-in-One “Winner’s Choice” prize of a trip for two, valued at $10,000.  Additional prizes will be awarded for Closest-to-the Pin; Longest Putt; Longest Drive; and Low Gross for men and for women.

On Thursday, Aug. 18, the Chicago White Sox are hosting Chicago Southland Community Night presented by the South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association.

On this special night, the White Sox would like to offer specially priced tickets to all businesses, organizations, families and friends of the Chicago Southland communities. Tickets priced at $43 and $27 are available for $21.50 and $13.50.
