Drugstore Employees Tied Up In Shocking Pharmacy Heist

More than $20,000 worth of drugs and two bottles of Crown Royal were stolen from the Beecher pharmacy.

Five drugstore employees were tied up and more than $20,000 worth of prescription medication was stolen from a Beecher pharmacy during a shocking armed robbery.

The four crooks struck at Doc’s Drugs the evening of Jan. 18.

Three men — two wearing black masks and one with a blue bandana over his face — went into the Dixie Highway store while a fourth waited outside and acted as a lookout. Two of the masked men brandished handguns.

The bandits zip-tied five five drugstore employees before absconding with $22,907.55 worth of prescription medication, two bottles of Crown Royal and a box and a half of prescription pads.

The lookout stood in front of the drugstore and told at least one person the business was closed for the night.
