Daughter Set Fire to House with Elderly Mom Inside: Cops

After a mom took away her daughter’s cell phone and fought with her over cigarettes, the angry daughter set fire to their home and stood outside as the blaze took over the house with Mom inside, according to police. The mom is 90 years old — and the daughter is 64. Flossmoor police took the daughter away in handcuffs.

The father of a 9-year-old boy executed in a gang revenge killing is now selling T-shirts bearing his son’s likeness the day after his mother allegedly purchased a new car from donations to help pay for the slain boy’s funeral. Police believe Tyshawn Lee was lured to a Chicago alley one week ago where he was shot repeatedly because of an alleged gang dispute involving the boy’s father, Pierre Stokes.
